If you have recently visited the North North Norfolk coast, then you will notice that two of its best-loved inns, The Chequers and The Lifeboat both in Thornham, have been transformed following a major £1.5 million investment by Agellus Hotels, a privately owned hotel and restaurant group. Part of the transformation is the new look, and Adrenaline was proud to be appointed as the design team behind the new brands.

Both of the new logos have a heritage and tell a story. The Lifeboat logo is based around an image of last pulling lifeboat based at the Hunstanton lifeboat station which began saving lives in 1900. The Chequers logo incorporates leaves from the chequers tree which were once used to brew ale.

The new branding appears on the external signage for both properties. And inside, the inns have been sensitively refurbished to retain their historic ambiance whilst offering the contemporary luxuries demanded by its diners and guests. Agellus Hotels has relaunched the properties as two of the best places on the North Norfolk coast to stay, dine and unwind. Since it was founded in 2004, Agellus Hotels has worked closely with Adrenaline in the development of marketing materials and branding for its other hotels.
